Torqa 1.5: clubs, scorecards, and a ride that explains itself
New
- Five tabs: Home, Feed, Map, Clubs, Coach. Home swipes between Today, Training and Analytics. Everything the old Dashboard, Activities and Leaderboard tabs held has a better home.
- Clubs and group rides. Post a ride or a schedule that repeats, take RSVPs, split into pace groups, chat about it. Share the link and anyone can open the route, time and meeting point, app or no app.
- Ride Scorecards. Speed, Power, Heart and Fitness, scored against your own history. No load, no verdict.
- Your rides, written up. A short read on your day and on the ride, measured against your last four weeks and twelve. See what Fitness means.
- Speed. Bests come off the ride's own stream, not an average a coffee stop can wreck. Card, detail page and leaderboard board.
- Structured workouts. A library drawn as real shapes, with targets from your power curve rather than a percentage of FTP. Send any of them to your Wahoo.
- Disciplines. Road, gravel, mountain bike and trainer told apart, with a per ride override. Trainer kilometres stop counting as road.
- Heart rate zone check-ins. When your rides stop fitting your zones, Torqa shows current against suggested and waits for you to accept.
- Routes you can keep. Build one, name it, edit it later, attach it to a ride you are posting.
- Achievements, reworked. Medals in liquid metal above the award cards, and personal best notifications that speak each sport's language.
- Exclude a ride. Out of your quality numbers, still in your volume, still there.
- Runs get their own everything. Splits per mile and kilometre with the fastest marked, elevation gain, climb score, and pace targets that read as pace.
Improved
- The activity page is rebuilt. Stat chips instead of a hero card, sections you can scan, your photos under the title, comments as page two.
- Coach chat is open to free accounts. Ten messages a month, eighty on Pro. The paywall only appears when the credits are gone.
- The coach knows what you have been doing. It tracks which stimuli you have had lately and suggests the next session from the gap.
- Your FTP history rebuilds itself. A late power best rebuilds the timeline instead of appending to it, and entries say whether they were measured or inferred.
- Equipment routes rides by rule rather than by whatever gear id Strava last remembered.
- Your first import is the full account, not the free window.
- Push reaches every device you own.
Fixed
- Private activities belonging to friends were visible in the feed payload.
- Indoor rides and corrupt streams were poisoning speed bests.
- Power zone totals summed elapsed time instead of moving time. Older rides are repaired.
- Estimated watts counted as a real power best.
- Nobody was getting "New FTP" from actually riding.
- Pace achievements could show an improvement as a decline.
- The training calendar drew every day as a rest day.
- Cached rides duplicated, and deleted rides stayed on your phone.
- A failed achievements fetch erased your medals.
- Distance leaderboards counted runs the total leaves out.
- Group power bests ranked on watts while the card showed watts per kilogram.
- The Strava sign in could strand you on a blank web sheet.
- Notifications that name an activity now open it.
- A run could win the notification meant for a fresh ride.
- Climb gradient chunking flattened itself on long activities.
